Paul Duffen has urged Hull fans to enjoy the final home game of the season against Crystal Palace, knowing a play-off place has been assured.Sitting in third, three points adrift of Stoke in the second automatic promotion spot, Hull are relying on the Potters to drop points before they can realistically finish in the top two.
Chairman Duffen told the Hull Daily Mail: "Fans can relax now. What last Saturday did determine is that we're in the play-offs at least and we'd be confident of going up by that route.
"The other results guaranteed us a place in the play-offs and that was a big positive as far as I'm concerned with two games left. The worse case scenario now is that we're in the play-offs but I'd be confident if that's the route we have to go down."
Concerning the forthcoming clash with Neil Warnock's Crystal Palace, he said: "A good performance and a defeat of Palace will get us back the momentum we need."
