Megson to continue touchline rants

Wed 23 Apr, 01:00 PM

Gary Megson has vowed to carry on ranting if it keeps Bolton in the Premier League - even if he is embarrassed by his own touchline tantrums.Megson has lifted Bolton out of the bottom three following back- to-back wins over West Ham and Middlesbrough.

But with three matches remaining, Wanderers' future remains on a knife-edge as they battle it out with Birmingham and Reading to avoid the drop - and to ensure Bolton beat relegation, Megson is ready to shout himself hoarse on the sidelines, now matter how he might appear.

"I watch myself on the touchline and sometimes I get a bit embarrassed and a bit upset with myself for behaving as I do," said Megson in the Bolton Evening News.

"But I can't see the point of knowing that you're not right after five or six minutes and then waiting another 40 to do something about it.

"If I have to shout and make myself look a bit foolish then I will do."
