Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Burton O'Brien has been ruled out of the Owls' crucial final two games of the Championship season.The Scottish midfielder picked up a thigh injury during training and will now miss Wednesday's matches against relegation rivals Leicester and Norwich.

With the Owls lying one point away from safety, defeat on Saturday could send them down to League One - if results elsewhere go against them.

Brian Laws told the club's official website: "We've suffered so many injuries that I'm almost reluctant to train the players in case somebody else goes down but we'll deal with it and do whatever is required to get the results we need."
