Coventry midfielder Jay Tabb has been voted the Sky Blues Player of the Year by the club's supporters.Meanwhile, manager Chris Coleman named lively striker Leon Best as the Sky Blues' young player of the year.

Tabb polled 84% of the votes with top-scorer Michael Mifsud finishing in second place, and Coleman believes the diminutive playmaker was a worthy winner of the award.

"There is no doubting that he has been one of our most consistent performers. He is an excellent professional with a great attitude towards the game and a great work ethic, and he has been a delight to have," said Coleman. "I can't think of a more deserving winner."

On 21-year-old Best, the City boss added: "He has been one of our main strikers this season and when he is on form, he is almost unplayable.

"He holds the ball up, brings people into play and he has an eye for goal too. There aren't many players around with attributes like Leon's."
