Rotherham United have signed midfielder Michael Cummins on a free transfer following his release by League Two rivals Darlington.Cummins has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Millers and is Mark Robins' first summer signing.

The 29-year-old started his career at Middlesbrough before making the switch to Port Vale, where he spent six seasons. Cummins joined Darlington just over two years ago, but was released by boss Dave Penney earlier this week.
