Leeds United's play-off semi-final hero Jonathan Howson is praying the Whites win promotion back to the Championship on Sunday.Gary McAllister's side booked a place in this weekend's final at Wembley courtesy of Howson's brace as Leeds battled back from a one-goal deficit to secure a 3-2 aggregate win over Carlisle.
Howson admits it had been a gruelling season for the club, who were docked 15 points at the start of the campaign, and is now hoping his team-mates do not get caught up in the occasion with one more hurdle to navigate in Doncaster.
"It has been a long and hard season, but if you've been performing like you know you can be it's always going to be a long and hard season," he told Sky Sports News.
"This has been my full proper season. I'm not obviously too experienced on how seasons should be but I've enjoyed it.
"If you could wish for anything it would be a win on Sunday. I don't think anything could beat that.
"It's a case of going there, doing the job and once we get over that white line just try not to get caught up in the occasion."
