Coventry chairman Ray Ranson has confirmed Hibernian midfielder Guillaume Beuzelin is the "type of player" the club are looking to sign.The French playmaker is out of contract at the Scottish Premier League club this summer and has been linked with a move to the Ricoh Arena.

Ranson told the Telegraph: "I won't make idle promises or build false hopes but we are going to recruit properly and it is fair to say he is the type of player we are looking for - a playmaker, a good passer of the ball.

"It is well documented the type of player we want to bring to the football club and I have no doubt we will start next season with a stronger squad than the one we inherited."
