Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has been cleared of two improper conduct charges relating to claims he spat at Hull City assistant manager Brian Horton.
Hull made the allegations after ugly scenes at the end of an FA Cup tie on March 17. Fabregas, who was not playing, came on to the pitch and was involved in a confrontation with Hull staff.
The Spaniard maintained he was innocent of Hull's claim he spat at Horton's feet, and an independent commission has found there was not enough evidence to support the charges.
The decision was made last week, but the FA wanted to delay the announcement as Hull are still embroiled in a relegation battle.
Tigers manager Phil Brown was charged with improper conduct following an outburst at referee Mike Riley, and has requested a personal hearing.
An FA statement said: "At a regulatory commission hearing, two charges of improper conduct against Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas were found not proved.
"The charges related to Fabregas's conduct following the FA Cup match between Arsenal and Hull at the Emirates Stadium on 17 March.
"One charge concerned his conduct after coming onto the pitch following the final whistle. The second charge related to an allegation of spitting."

what was he doing on the pitch confronting Hull staff, if he wasn't playing. what more proof do they need. Should Brown have ziplocked the 'greener' in question? fabregas is a @#$%!
L H. Sounds like you are wound up mate.
I can be easily wound up sometimes but not on this fine sunny friday.
Who are you anyway? If you're at work go and do some!
I hope Cesc lands a big fat golly on Alex Fergusons eye brow, and spits a dirty big greeny in Smack head Rios Blagg Afro
cant understand the players at arsenal.. no respect for the game not like us at west ham

I hope Cesc lands a big fat golly on Alex Fergusons eye brow, and spits a dirty big greeny in Smack head Rios Blagg Afro
cmon Barca LOL
Good luck to you Scousehater.
At least it will be a great match. Anytime I've seen either club this season they have been a joy to watch (except when Man Utd humped my beloved Celtic).
I'm not jealous honestly. Just have typist's tourette's
I wonder how much the FA spent on this matter, W*nkers!
If Henry is fit, he will @#$% on you!
Delusional poet
Mon the Barca!
Comment 45 aptly hit the nail on the head. I agree we do have pundits and reporters who let their personal football inclinations or loyalties get in the way of professional analyses, presentation or reporting of events. Sometimes I think SkySports is an extension of Man U! I am particularly impressed that The FA was not on this occasion, swayed by media manipulations.
yet again the papers staring a football row
ajafunfun
Saw pictures of it in erm . . . . . .
wait foir it . . . . .
. . . . . . The Sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Say no more my son, say no more!
If it was in The Sun, then it was erm. . . . .... true beyond a shdow of a doubt . . . .
. . . . simple as, end of and it should not even have been up for discussion.
Man Utd going bust........DREAM ON..........still its something for you Celtic fans to laugh about when you get to play in a little tin pot league
Man Utd going bust by end of 2011.
Stevo and Scousehater hahaha.
So easy to wind you folk up. Mad fur it!
You'd be nothin without Sir Alex and you know it!
Not much legroom at Ibrox eh?
comment 46. dont we all !
So Filthy Phill Brown is proved to be a liar, so perhaps a suitable punishment for him perhaps he can round up all the Hull city players at half time while they take turns spitting at him. Mug !
Isnt it strange that when he was been charged, eurosport put up a picture of Fabregas looking like a thug but now he is cleared, they put up a more responsible looking picutre. So much for being "Innocent Until Proven Guilty"
The duffen bloke the chair man is also delusional if he think Brown is a good manager
what sort of @#$% sits his players down in the rain on a cold winter weekend to make a point a overblown egostistical idiot thats Phil Brown
so hope he stays with Hull and they sink to the blue sq as he and duffen deserve one another
