Goalkeeper Radek Cerny has revealed the depth of research he did before joining QPR.The 24-year-old consulted former Rangers players Jan Stejskal and Ludek Miklosko as well as another countryman Petr Cech, before agreeing to join the club from July 1.
The former Czech Republic international has signed a two-year deal at Loftus Road.
Cerny told the club's official website: "Jan Stejskal and Ludek Miklosko, who I know very well, spoke in good terms about the club. They were very complimentary about QPR.
"I spoke to Petr Cech about the training ground and I've also chatted at length with Ben Alnwick about the championship.
"It seems like a very good club, with great history and tradition."
