Blackburn Rovers chairman John Williams is 'very excited' by the appointment of Paul Ince as the new manager at Ewood Park.Ince has agreed a three-year contract to replace former Manchester United team-mate Mark Hughes and will be presented to the media on Tuesday.
He leaves Milton Keynes Dons after just one season with the club, during which he won the League Two title and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Williams is aware that there is a risk factor in appointing Ince ahead of more established managers such as Sam Allardyce, Steve McClaren and Michael Laudrup.
But the Rovers chairman is confident that the club can continue to thrive under the management of the former England international.
"I'm very excited by the appointment," said Williams in The Sun. "We've had a very long and thorough process and we're very pleased to get Paul. Judging by his reaction he's really up for it.
"I don't know what the fans' reaction will be. It's a risk whoever you appoint.
"But I believe that Paul will do a very good job for us."

I don't think Hiddink has the qualifications either.
Forget the "first black premier manager" codswallop. Ince has not completed any of the required coaching qualification levels despite starting the courses. A lorry driver cannot work without the required licences but a football coach can, sounds incredible but thats the FA & Premier League for you. He may well be good enough to do the job but we need qualified coaches to take English football forward.
