I know he is talented and our captain and all but last­ season esp after his injury Cesc was not good, to say­ the least. I actually rated Song and Denilson more than­ Cesc but he is our captain so he had to be played but I­ think Wenger and Rice should have gradually integrated­ him back, I mean, how would that do to Denilson's­ spirits? Even look in the spanish team, he is not even­ changing games the way he did during the Euros, yes the­ class is there you can tell but not the class to change­ games. He seems bored or something. Just like Tores, I­ actually think Villa is better in my team than Tores,­ mark Tores and you wont see him in a game (Iraq, South­ Africa) but Villa always delivers especially when the­ going gets tough (its the tough that gets going).­ Iniesta unlocks defences with his close ball control,­ Xavi always almost never loses the ball and his passing­ is the reason why Spain is doing so well, where as­ towards the end of last season Cesc went missing­ particularly against United and Chelsea. Our Central­ midfield is fine (Song, Denilson, Cesc, Nasri), lets­ keep what we have and develop. Lets not just keep on­ buying and selling. We know what the Boss is going to­ buy anyway (young, talented, untested) so better stick­ to what we have. most people nowadays are just glory hunters and just­ watch how popular man city will become if they start­ winning . arsene will get it right but it all depends­ on if the @#$% section of the crowd who never supported­ the club before he came give him the time he deserves .­ wenger has taken our club to the next level , the place­ george graham , howe , neil , rioch etc would never­ have done and in terms of players , yes , bendtner can­ be slow and clumsy with a touch as heavy as an elephant­ but towards the end of the season you could see an­ improvement . my only gripe is that how much longer can­ we kepp having 'potential' ??? but i think we­ are only 2 players from being a very very good side­ again and we have just signed 1 and all we need now is­ a good centre midfielder along side fabregas and we­ could do some damage next season .
