Brentford striker Ben Strevens is confident his playing style is well-suited to his new team-mates.

The 29-year-old, Danny Foster and Sam Saunders all joined from Dagenham & Redbridge last week.

Strevens told the official website: "It's a strange situation, but a good one. I know the boys very well and we all know how each other plays.

"I feel like I'm going into the new season with real momentum as Dagenham finished strongly and I'm looking forward to getting started.

"I think the lads will enjoy playing with me as I like to bring other people into the game."
