Warnock keen on Kisnorbo

Tue 23 Jun, 02:16 PM

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has admitted his interest in out-of-contract Leicester defender Patrick Kisnorbo.

The Australia international, 28, was one of five players to be told last month they were surplus to requirements at the Walkers Stadium following the Foxes promotion back to the Championship.

Warnock told the South London Press: "He is a player I have looked at and I like him."

  2. Kisnorbo was Leicesters best player for two years in the Championship. Remember they went down with the third best defensive record in the League. They just couldn't score. Kisnorbos partner in those two years? Captain of Ipswich now!!! Great deal for Palace!!!

  4. Kisnorbo is a good player and IMO we shouldn't have let him go, but that's football. He'd be a worthy addition to any Championship squad.

  5. There was a time when being a Palace fan meant through thick and thin, it seems the fan of today has the loyalty of Judas, either that or he/she expects the club to sign multi-million pound player deals, if you look around the divisions past and present how many great players started at Palace and then just went when they could, that's the real issue at Palace now and for the future, keeping the talent and most of all wanting to play for the club, proud to wear the shirt, if that should happen the club WILL go places.

  6. Im amazed at how many people living in cookoo land leave comments on this site denegrating Simon Jordan and Neil Warnnock, Jordan has put in around 20 million of his own doe, what do you put in, a couple of hundred quid for a season ticket, put your life savings into Palace then critize Jordan, as for Warnnock, i bet Norwich, Southampton and Charlton wish he was their manager last year, the harsh facts are, Jordan has done all his money, we only get 14k fans through the gate so Wannock has to deal the cards he has, ie looking at cast offs etc, what do want him to do, buy Tevez! Jordans heart is in the right place, unfortunately his choice of managers has been poor, Smith, Kember, Dowie, Taylor, he got it right with Bruce but he didnt hang around, if Wannock leaves we will go down this season, he has the experience to keep us up, Sears could be a good loan signing aswell as Ambrose, get another couple in, get rid of nick carle, useless fat aussie, we currently have one of the best defences in the division, if he can get Moses playing again, i would like to see him play striker, see how he gets on, and we could give the play offs a go
