Crewe boss Steve Holland has been dealt an injury blow with the news on-loan Tottenham starlet Jake Livermore has suffered a fractured fibula. The 18-year-old midfielder sustained the problem during Tuesday's goalless draw against Wrexham and is now expected to be sidelined for three months.

Livermore joined the Railwaymen on a six-month loan deal earlier this month and he will now return to his parent club to start his rehabilitation.

  1. Not sure I'd want Jake getting second-rate care from Crewe, when he would be better cared for at Spurs Lodge. Sure he will be treated by Spurs, but at Crewe's expense.
