Colchester manager Geraint Williams has signed Akanni-Sunday Wasiu on a free transfer following a successful trial with the club.The 24-year-old Nigerian striker scored three goals in three pre-season outings for the Us before being snapped up by Williams although the exact terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed.
Wasiu left Blue Square Premier South side St Albans City earlier this summer.
