Wed 23 Jul, 02:30 PM

England's Ashley Young has challenged his younger brother Lewis to follow in his footsteps and establish himself in the Watford first team. The Aston Villa winger was in the stands to see his 18-year-old brother turn out for the Hornets in their 3-1 win at Boreham Wood on Tuesday evening and believes he has a chance of making it at the Championship side.

"It was a bit weird seeing him out there where I used to be," he said.

"But it's always nice to come and see him play - especially now he's made it to playing alongside the first team.

"I know he's got aspirations to follow in my footsteps and make a success of himself here and he's got a great chance to do that.

"He did well. Everyone was trying to impress because they want to be in the manager's plans come the first game of the season."
