Everton have reportedly accepted Fulham's bid of £10.5million for Andy Johnson and the striker is set to seal a move within the next few days. The England frontman's future at Goodison Park has been the subject of constant speculation all summer with a host of clubs believed to be keeping tabs on him.
And according to the Liverpool Echo, Fulham now appear to have jumped to the front of the queue - ahead of Wigan and Sunderland - by having their offer accepted.
Johnson travelled with the Everton squad for their pre-season friendly at Preston on Tuesday night but was not included in either the starting line-up or substitutes.
And the Echo claims it is now "inevitable" that Johnson's two-year stay at Goodison will end in the next few days.

Im a supporter of 50 years, and it doesn't surprise me in the least that a player of AJ's stature should leave the club, what a shambles!! Instead of building a team worthy of challenging the top four, and vying for places in Europe, Everton (note i didnt say we) have sold a great great player who has served them well.
AJ's determination was worthy of a first team place for most of last season, he proved a very good provider and he will with Carsley be greatly missed. EvertonKelly
