Crewe first-team coach Steve Holland heaped praise on midfielder Eugen Bopp following Tuesday night's goalless draw against Wrexham. The former Bayern Munich youngster joined the Railwaymen from Rotherham last summer but struggled to command a regular first-team place.
But Holland is hopeful of seeing the 24-year-old reach his potential in the coming months at Gresty Road.
"Eugen was one of the plus points from the game," Holland told the club's official website.
"I was pleased with his performance. He was certainly as dangerous as anyone on the pitch and he has worked very hard over the summer to give himself a real chance of regaining his place in the side, in the role we want him to play."
Meanwhile, Jake Livermore is set to undergo an X-Ray to determine the severity of an ankle injury sustained against the Dragons.
