Mosquito to fly into Robins' nest

Coventry have confirmed striker Michael Mifsud is in talks with Championship rivals Bristol City after the clubs agreed a fee for the player.The Robins have been given permission to discuss terms with the Malta international, who scored 17 goals for the Sky Blues last season, after the player handed in a transfer request at the Ricoh Arena.

Coventry boss Chris Coleman said: "I spoke with Michael this week and he feels it is time for him to move on."

Well done Bristol, Micheal did well everywhere he played and I believe he will do well with Bristol city since unlike Coventry ,its more of a stable team and can easily fight for the premier.......shame on Coventry that instead of offering him a contract renew.....though it was best to cash cow on him to the first offering......these are the tactics of a team that can hardly win a relegation game...which is sad...really sad...specially for the fans that I'm sure they'll never forget Micheal.

  3. What a pity... a waste of a good player that Coventry can't afford to lose.. after his lightning start last season, I thought at least 1 more season to prove himself would have been better for the club, but then theres the money side of things too... shame.
