Dance The Star was a most taking winner of the Formost Fabrication Handicap at Lingfield.

Four horses had a chance passing the two furlong marker but the 9-2 winner settled matters with a good turn of foot, going clear in a matter of strides.

Richard Mullen was able to coast through the final half-furlong for a smooth four lengths success.

Brexa (6-1) emerged as the best of the rest in second with Sir Mark Prescott's Suite Francaise never a factor.

The winner, a son of Dynaformer, won a Windsor maiden on his last start and has the scope to go on from here.
