Martin Offiah has become the latest addition to a star-studded cast who will play in September's Help for Heroes charity match at Twickenham.
The 41-year-old joins the likes of England World Cup winners Martin Johnson, Lawrence Dallaglio and Will Greenwood, who will be in the Help for Heroes squad against an International XV on September 20.
The game aims to raise £1million for the Help for Heroes charity, which contributes to the care and rehabilitation of injured British service personnel who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Rugby league superstar Offiah said: "Our forces are doing a fantastic job and I wanted to help in any way I can, that's why I have decided to take part.
"Since retiring, I haven't really played much rugby, it has been more football.
"Just recently, I have been playing a bit of touch (rugby) to get myself back into it. but now I've got exactly eight weeks full training to get myself ready for such a huge match."
