Lyon forward Sidney Govou has blasted the club's indecisiveness over his future at the club.
Govou has been left angered by the contradictory messages he has received from club president Jean-Michel Aulas.
Despite reassurances from new manager Claude Puel that he remains in the club's plans, the 28-year-old remains unsure as to whether the seven-times Ligue 1 champions are planning to sell him or not.
The France international, who has spent his entire career at Lyon, said: "Jean-Michel Aulas says one thing and then another.
"One day I've got permission to leave, the next they want to offer me a contract extension. Me, I don't get involved in the matter. I let him talk and then we'll see what happens.
"I'm 29 years old (on July 27) so I don't expect anything anymore. It's true that when I was younger I would have liked people to say to me 'Sidney, we're not going to let you leave', but at my age I don't need it.
"Honestly, I don't give a damn."
