The 19-year-old has passed a medical with the Dutch side, just weeks after completing his move the Anfield.

Mihaylov told Bulgarian radio Gong: "I have signed for Twente and Rafa Benitez wished me good luck. Liverpool coaches will watch every game I play for Twente and will follow my performances for the Bulgaria Under 21 team. Now everything depends on me.

"I had three or four other offers but decided to choose Twente as they are currently one of the top clubs in Holland. They play in the UEFA Cup and have high aims.

"I have received a very warm welcome at the club. They know that I am coming from Liverpool. The coach told me that he will count on me. I will compete with two other goalkeepers for a starting place."
