Aston Martin rounded off their domination of the Le Mans Series 1000km of the Nurburgring by monopolising the podium.
The Aston Martin Racing team's Lola Aston Martin 007 - driven by Stefan Muecke, Tomas Enge and Jan Charouz - carried on their form from qualifying to top the standings, completing 195 laps and recording the fastest lap in a time of one minute 44.125 seconds.
The team's other car - Lola Aston Martin 009 piloted by Harold Primat and Darren Turner - was second, having completed the same amount of laps.
The manufacturer's domination of the podium was completed when AMR Eastern Europe - also driving a Lola - ended the day in third place, making 195 circuits of the track.
Mueke said: "This is my home race, so this is a great result. The team did a very good job and we had no problem. The track was tricky today because of traffic, but everything went perfectly. That is a fantastic result because we now have a seven point lead."
The final round of the season takes place at Silverstone from September 11-13.
