Eurosport-Yahoo! gives a rundown of who impressed during Matchday Three of the Champions League group stage.
Arsenal's remarkable 5-2 win in Fenerbahce's Istanbul cauldron means several Gunners stars make the XI, while Lyon's Fred edges Dimitar Berbatov and Bojan Krkic to partner Wayne Rooney up front because the Brazilian striker was on the receiving end of rough treatment from his own fans last weekend.
The heavy-scoring nature of this week means that the line-up only features three defenders, with no less than three of Arsene Wenger's midfielders in the team.
GK Manuel Almunia (Arsenal) - Made some great saves to keep the Canaries at bay, adding weight to the argument that he should at least be considered for England's problematic goalkeeping position.
CB Martin Demichelis (Bayern Munich) - The Argentine stopper was solid and unruffled and helped Bayern keep a clean sheet as they spanked Fiorentina.
CB John Terry (Chelsea) - England and Chelsea's talismanic captain shrugged off a back injury to head his side to a 1-0 win over Roma and had Francesco Totti in his pocket throughout.
CB Zdenek Grygera (Juventus) - A great team performance saw Juventus beat Real Madrid 2-1 and Grygera gets the nod for his work both in attack and defence.
RW Theo Walcott (Arsenal) - He just keeps getting better. The teenage winger scored a great goal and gave Roberto Carlos untold grief on the right.
LW Lionel Messi (Barcelona) - Masterful in the 5-0 hammering of Basel in Switzerland. He scored one goal, created two and completed 90 per cent of his passes. Class.
MC Mark Van Bommel (Bayern Munich) - The Dutchman bossed the midfield in the win over La Viola, barely making a bad pass and keeping their high tempo ticking over.
MC Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal) - Dictated the tempo of a match Arsenal controlled through the midfield and created two goals. Some of his passing was majestic.
AMC Abou Diaby (Arsenal) - Many viewed leggy French midfielder Diaby as the natural heir to Patrick Vieira's throne, but in a more advanced role he looked more like Zinedine Zidane, scoring a great goal in the process.
FW Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) - It seems he is living up to the hype. Far more comfortable in a conventional 4-4-2, Rooney is playing a much more advanced role, conserving his energy and touches and looking like a quite fearsome player. He has just turned 23, and if this is the point at which he realises his potential then God help the rest of us.
FW Fred (Lyon) - Less for his performance (he scored twice in the thrilling 5-3 comeback win at Steaua Bucharest), more that he answered the fans who booed him the Ligue 1 draw with Lille in the best way possible.

come on chelsea u can win.
this year they gunna win the priemer legue ,champions league ,league cup, carling cup
chelsea rule
Only an english site would have six players from english clubs in this thing. Have you forgotten Sissoko, he won everything in the middle against Madrid. Chiellini was better than Grygera; Llorent scored a hat-trick incase you forgot and won the game for Villarreal; Walcott shouldn't have been there, he played great but not better than Xavi; then there's Benzema who's two goals were far more valuable than Rooney's because they kept Lyon among the leaders. You have 4 players from Arsenal who win 5-2 and then just Messi when Barca win 5-0???
Ronado's football career is over Sir, sell him

Where is Sissoko?
He probably had the best game of his life!
Perfect tackles, and he kept getting tripped, and DIDN'T stop running.
+ Chiellini was better defensively than Grygera.
I'm saying this not because I'm a Juve fan, but because I watched the game.
