Premier League - Bentley: Spurs 'a bit s***'

David Bentley feels Tottenham are turning a corner after their "shocking" start to the season.

Spurs are currently preparing for their UEFA Cup Group D game at Udinese as they look for a positive result following a poor start to the term.

Juande Ramos' charges are currently bottom of the Premier League table, without a win in their opening eight matches.

And Bentley has given a forthright verdict of the club's start to the campaign, admitting the players struggled to gather an understanding of their roles.

"It's been difficult out on the pitch," Bentley said.

"We've not been together. We didn't know where people were running, what people were doing. It's been a difficult start. I wasn't enjoying it. It's been shocking, it's been a bit s**t.

"We are slowly starting to get settled and people are becoming more confident."

  9. I'm an Arsenal supporter, but it would be a sad loss if tottenham were relegated, we'd lose the North London Derby. One of the all time rivalry's wouldnt happen. Half the fun is from the banter that comes between you and your mates at these games. Sure Arsenal lost 5-1 last season but thats what its all about, bit of pressure, bit of excitement!!

    I hope they turn it around to stay in the Premier division

  12. I'm an Arsenal fan and as much as I would like to weigh into Spurs I would rather see something Intelligible on this forum. 'Just deserves'....I think you'll find that's 'desserts'.
