Sascha Kindred continued Great Britain's gold rush at the IPC European Swimming Championships in Reykjavik.
Kindred claimed his third title of the week on an evening in which British swimmers claimed six golds, three silvers and five bronze medals.
Kindred powered ahead of Spain's Daniel Vidal to claim the 50m butterfly title in a European record 34.48 seconds.
"Three golds is great but that one was the sweetest," said Kindred.
"I lowered my personal best and the European record, which was the aim for that race. I have worked hard on my butterfly recently and so I am really happy to have done that."
Stephanie Millward led home a British 1-2-3 in the 100m backstroke to win her fourth gold of the championships - Lizzie Simpkin and Heather Frederiksen completed the podium
"That gold for me was wonderful and to have all three of us on the podium and it makes us proud to be British," said Millward.
"I have learnt a lot from this competition and to have someone like Lizzie [Simpkin] coming through really keeps me on my toes."
Frederiksen soon upgraded her bronze with a fifth gold in the 100m freestyle - beating nearest rival, Norway's Cecilie Drabsch Norland, with a commanding performance.
"That was a really good race," she said, after clocking 1.07.51.
"I was pushed all of the way. I have had a heavy programme here and it has meant that I have had to work really hard. But the medals are what all of the training is for."
Elsewhere, Dan Pepper won the 400m freestyle and Matt Walker took the 50m butterfly title.
And Natalie Massey admitted her shock after winning the 100m freestyle in a 1.04.12 personal best.
"I am a bit speechless with that," she said.
"The first 50m I was behind but that was the tactic for me to come back so I just kicked through the last 50m.
"It feels amazing to have been on the top of the podium because I have waited a long time for it."
