Leaders Lyon may be without Hugo Lloris at Nice on Saturday after the France goalkeeper skipped training because of a slight groin injury he suffered in their Champions League tie at Liverpool.

"It's not a serious injury but we'll probably rest Hugo on Saturday," Lyon coach Claude Puel said.

Nice welcome Lyon without Ivory Coast defender Emerse Fae, who is suspended, and striker Mickael Pote, out of action for a month after picking up a leg injury.

Bordeaux coach Laurent Blanc could rest some key players for Saturday's match against struggling Le Mans.

"We'll host Le Mans with the squad that defeated Bayern Munich on Wednesday in the Champions League but it doesn't mean I'll field the same team," the former French international said.

"We played a great game... but now we must turn over the page of the Champions League and focus on the championship.

"We lost our last two games and we mustn't allow our opponents to think they can easily beat us."

Le Mans will travel to Bordeaux without Norwegian midfielder Fredrik Stromstad and defender Samuel Bouhours, who are both injured.

They do, however, welcome back midfielder Matthieu Dossevi and Brazilian central defender Malta Geder.

Marseille police are on alert before the arrival of around 2,000 Paris St Germain fans for Sunday's game between the Ligue 1 arch rivals.

PSG said in a statement that 1,200 people would travel aboard buses chartered by the club but 800 would be making their own way to Marseille.

Both clubs admitted there were some concerns that hard-line PSG fans could make the journey just to fight Marseille supporters and not even go to the game.

Surprise package Montpellier, second to Lyon on goal difference, will be at full strength for their away game at Rennes on Saturday.

"The players know that staying at the top will be more difficult that reaching it," coach Rene Girard said.

Rennes defenders Kader Mangane and Carlos Bocanegra and midfielder Fabien Lemoine are back from suspension for the Montpellier match.
