Australia scrum-half Will Genia has been rewarded for a series of strong displays by signing a two-year deal with the Wallabies and Queensland.
The 21-year-old prospect, who has made a big impression since replacing Luke Burgess in the Wallabie this season, confirmed he had agreed to the contract that takes him through to the 2011 World Cup.
"It's been a rapid rise for me this year but I certainly haven't taken any of it for granted," Genia said in a statement.
"I have tried to make the most of all opportunities I've received at training or on game day and I've enjoyed every moment.
"I had no hesitation in re-signing with Australia and Queensland, and hopefully I'll be more involved with the Wallabies in the future."
