Sebastian Giovinco has no intention of leaving Juventus in January, according to his agent.
West Ham are reportedly offering Swiss midfielder Valon Behrami to Juventus in a swap deal which would see the Italian playmaker move in the other direction.
However, the player's agent Andrea D'Amico told tuttomercatoweb.it: "He is not interested in any other option than to remain at Juventus. Giovinco is doing well and his only focus is with the Bianconeri project and nothing else."
Hammers coach Gianfranco Zola is a big admirer of the 22-year-old, having coached him in the Italy Under-21 team.
Giovinco, who has made just five appearances for Juve this season, is under contract with the Turin giants until June 2013.

i think gio is a fantastic player! u should see him in euro u21. he's the heart of italy mid.
his only problem is he play best as trequartista, but juve need him to play as left winger or second striker.
(kinda' remind me of young ale :D )
and i agre with u matthew, gio is definitely too classy for westham!
no one body in their right mind could call giovinco an unproven player hes fantastic but as you say its not worth losing behrami. To be honest though he wouldnt come to west ham no matter how much pull the brilliant Zola has
How come you're blaming Zola??? Do you think it was also Zola's idea to sell half of a decent defensive pairing (Collins)??? Moves like that are made by our "Technical Director" Nani. Thats why we keep ending up with players who aren't good enough to get into their own teams. You've got to feel sorry for Zola because the buck stops with him. How much longer will Steve Clarke take it for? Apparentley, he has already had run-ins with Nani over this. And yes, we do need a goalscorer but they cost money. Thats something that we haven't got.
Beginning to doubt Zola's judgement.
giovinco is to classy for west ham
Look Keith, just because you have never heard of Giovinco it doesn't make him an "unproven" player. He is definately one of the best young talents in the world. You obviously did not see Juventus vs Chelsea last year in the Champions League. But you need not get excited- no way are Juve going to part with a present and future star like Giovinco for a bum like Behrami.
I agree with you Keith. I am feeling a bit concerned about things. We've been through that "too good to go down" nonsense before. We need to do something soon. The players despeartely need to turn things around.
WHAT??? Once again, we look to offload one of our best players for an unproven Italian!!! Does Zola no understand we have to get rid of the surplus cr*p and invest in a proven GOALSCORER??? I am truly worried about my beloved WHU!!
