Motherwell could welcome back Jim O'Brien and Shaun Hutchinson for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash at St Mirren.

O'Brien, who missed last weekend's draw against Celtic with an Achilles knock, and Hutchinson, who has been out for two months with an ankle problem, have returned to training.

Stevie Hammell is again doubtful with a tight hamstring and Paul Slane remains on the sidelines with a lower-leg problem.
