An injury to Jimmy Phillips could pave the way for Keith Gilroy to make his Football League debut for Burton Albion when they make their first-ever trip to Saltergate to face Chesterfield.
Phillips is expected to be out for up to four weeks after sustaining a knee injury in the home win over Barnet.
Gilroy could replace him on the wing having finally recovered from the hamstring problem that has kept him sidelined since April, although Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido could also turn to Jacques Maghoma.
Former Chesterfield defender Paul Boertien (knee) will miss out against his old club, so Aaron Webster is expected to continue at left-back. Boertien could be fit for the home game against Bury next weekend.
Albion are unbeaten in four league matches, winning their last three, and could move into the play-off places if they become the first visiting team to win at Saltergate this season.
