Page out for Spireites

Rob Page will miss out through suspension as Chesterfield look to preserve their unbeaten home record against Burton Albion.

The former Wales international must serve a one-match ban for accumulating five yellow cards this season. The defender reached the threshold in the defeat at Hereford.

Kevin Austin is likely to replace Page at centre-half, although Blues boss John Sheridan could also call on Dan Hall.

Captain Ian Breckin required four stitches in a cut near his eye at Hereford but he is expected to continue at the heart of the defence against the club he almost signed for in the summer.

Sheridan is waiting to see if Wade Small will be fit. The forward has missed the last three league and cup matches with a hamstring injury but could return to the squad.

Chesterfield, who have won five of their six home league games, beat the Brewers 5-1 in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy earlier this season.
