London Irish brushed aside Saracens 27-14 to climb into second in the Guinness Premiership, while Mark Cueto's late try saw Sale beat Wasps 13-12.
Tom Booth's Irish side scored the opening try at the Madejski stadium when Shane Geraghty's intelligent kick invited winger Tom Homer to go over for the first of two scores on six minutes.
But Wikus van Heerden replied with a try for Saracens midway through the first half and the boot of Ryan Jackson ensured the visitors went into the interval with an 11-8 lead.
Irish pulled level with a penalty from Peter Hewat, and took the lead with a fine team try that saw Geraghty, Hewat and Topsy Ojo combine before flanker Richard Thorpe went over in the corner for his fifth try of the season.
Hewat's boot extended the Irish lead, before Homer went over late on to cap a fine performance from the home side.
Wasps 12-13 Sale
Sale climbed to fifth in the table with a dramatic win against Sale at Adams Park.
David Walder kicked four penalties for the home side and Wasps appeared to be heading to victory, leading 12-6 with barely five minutes to play.
But winger Mark Cueto went over for late try for Sale, and Charlie Hodgson converted to give the visitors victory.

Great game at the Madjeski today. Steffan Armitage had a blinder. Saracens pushed the Exiles all the way and looked particularly dangerous in the first half with their enterprising play and swift movement of the ball. The second half was plagued by too much aimless kicking from one end to the other. Fortunately, Irish remembered how to run with the ball and prevailed in consequence. If Irish are to reach the top they will have to find a more reliable kicker. Peter Hewat is not of the required standard - another sub-standard kicking performance from him
