Premier League - Dalglish defends Suarez defence
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish maintains the club's support of Luis Suarez has been right and proper and has not "caused trouble".

The Reds came in for criticism for their strongly-worded statement in the wake of the Uruguay international's eight-match ban imposed for using insulting words towards Patrice Evra, with a reference to the Manchester United player's skin colour.
However, when the players issued their statement prior to Wednesday's goalless draw at Wigan and wore T-shirts in the warm-up depicting an image of Suarez with his name and number seven on the back there was further outcry.
"The statement couldn't have caused anyone any trouble," the Scot said.
"I don't think the players have caused any trouble with the FA either by their statement or support by their T-shirts. If we are not in any trouble we will leave it at that before we do get in any trouble."
Dalglish said Suarez had been moved by the show of support from the club and his team-mates
"He's been quite emotional and very grateful," added the Reds boss. "I don't think it is ever a disappointment when the people you work for give you their undivided support and I think that is the least he deserves."
Liverpool are still awaiting the full written verdict of the independent commission who heard Suarez's case but are not expected to receive it until after Christmas. The moment it does arrive the club will have 14 days to consider their response and appeal if they choose, otherwise the suspension will kick in.
Dalglish, aware of how much debate was taking place about the case and the anticipated production of the written summary, said it was a matter of being patient.
"Whenever it is ready," was his reply when asked when he expected to receive the documentation. "Most of the people have had their say, we've had our say but we will wait for the judgement and take it from there - but it won't be tomorrow (Saturday).
"The club have issued the statement, the players have issued their statement visually and verbally, but we have to wait for the written report because no-one knows [what it contains]. At this moment in time I don't think the club are permitted to go into any further detail than they have done."

It is an established fact that people of African descent are often referred in derogatory language as monkeys,
'@#$%' and so forth, so for Suarez and Kenny Daglish and for that matter the Liverpool team as a whole to come out and pretend to be insensitive to this derogatory attitude is very shameful and naive. Now who is trying to import such an uncultured attitude to the British society. If Suarez thinks patting a ladies buttocks is not an offence where he comes from he should try it in an Islamic country and he would no where it would land him. It's all about being SENSIBLE to other people's feelings.
It's not just Liverpool but ALL professional football clubs these days. Whether it's rucking in nightclubs, cheating on your missus, f'cking a fellow team mates girlfriend, racially abusing an opponent or just the general cheating that happens on the pitch, the stock response is.......'We are fully behind this paragon of virtue who helps us get our hands on even more money....yada, yada....'. Half of these twats would be in jail if they weren't professional footballers. Murdoch's grubby dosh has a lot to answer for.
well done king kenny and all the liverpool players, a good show off solidarity.
Chinese like to mentioned things with one hand can't clap.
It mean both party is at fault, in order to have such incident.
If Suarez must be punish, so punishment must happen to that player as well.
doesn't mean MUFC always having special excuses.
Dalglish and LFC are a disgrace. Those t-shirts the players wore saddened me. Suarez has been banned for 8 matches for racism, I would have thought that that idiot Dalglish would have at least berated Suarez in private and moved on to the next match instead of mouthing off and making himself and his club LFC the laughing stock of world football. Yak! yak! yak!
@150 - wot you been snorting lately lad? 3/4 of the planet? PMSL PMSL PMSL!!! Delusional eh!!!
Personally the way Liver pool has handled this has made me dislike the club and look at Liverpool as being a racist club. I just cannot imagine Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal behaving in this way. And all of this foolishness about about "Negrito is a freindly word for a Black man in Uraguay..." Has anybody asked any Black Urgaguyans about this ??? And what has Evras color got to do with time of day on a football pitch??? Kick racism out of football, yeah right. Liverpool FC and Liverpool fans have become the BNP of football.
Dalglish you fool keep out of this for Liverpools sake you idiot
Well done Kenny and all, reading the press around Europe -including Evra's France the FA have become the laughing stock of Europe. As John Barnes so amicably put it there has been a witch hunt out for Suarez.
badly handled by Liverpool......should have stayed quiet.......just added petrol to the fire.....very childish by Kenny Dalglish and co.
Bryjones LFC... ENGLAND... JLR. Have you been following the news lately?
what did Suarez say half a brain and how is it racist?
This incident will move away and Suarez will stop playing for Liverpool in a few years, but the way Liverpool as a club, coach, and supporters conducted themselves blatantly defending a racist statement from a controversial player and using incorrect arguments to try and tarnish Evra's image as a mean of explaining the situation will NEVER be forgotten. And the next generation of players fans and managers will pay the price for this horrible cross-team attitude.
@154 Brown1t with your i.d being the word brown are you being racist just think about it for a moment lol.
@150 Bry jones so what are you telling us he was not insulting him but trying to chat him up in a friendly way lol.
@158 Fed Fan 3/4 of the planet hey and where is this planet you live lol.
What ever the rights and wrongs of the incident were, Liverpool embarrassed themselves, England and the Prem. by wearing those shirts.
This just in, there are rumors that Sir Alex is so dismayed by the poor performances of Patrick Evra on the field that he has made the player available in the January trading window. This will give the FA a chance to sign the player as a consultant on any further bans that will be applied to Liverpool players in the future. Also, rumor has it, that the FA is going to make uncle Rob (Robert Mugabe) a honorary member of the FA, were he'll have the position as a Public Relations Manager on race relations. Rumor has it, uncle Rob will be paid by giving him five farms for he's war veterans to occupy just outside of London.
question--isnt it more racist to think about what colour a person is before talking.
to talk quite natural is more normal --therefore less racist.
lets just forget what colour ,religion or whatever a person is and just treat each other with the same respect.
things are sometimes said in the heat of the moment--lets just get on with each other.
i support suarez and liverpool with this.
the FA are just one big joke end of story.
when i was playing the refs were called black @#$% all the time.this was noway meant as racist at all.(the refs wore black then)
so just take a step back and think about it.
king kenny has lost it just as when he was playing always confrontations with the refs leopards and spots come to mind im right your all wrong
