Gillingham have extended the loan spell of Reading defender Adam Bygrave until the end of the season. The 18-year-old has made nine appearances for the Kent club since initially moving to Priestfield in November.
His deal had been extended for a third month to enable him to play in the 0-0 draw with Oldham on Tuesday, but he has now agreed to stay with the Gills until the end of the season.
Manager Mark Stimson told the club's official website: "It is great for both Gillingham Football Club and Adam himself.
"He is a popular member of the first-team squad and is a promising young player who will certainly get better.
"Adam is one for the future and with more first-team games with us, I am sure that when he returns to Reading he will be all the better for it."
