Jacko targets 'massive' clashes

Thu 24 Jan, 07:00 PM

Boss Peter Jackson believes Lincoln City's League Two season could hinge on their next two home matches.Fourth-bottom Lincoln, who have won only one of their last six league fixtures, take on Dagenham & Redbridge and Mansfield, two sides below them in the table - both at Sincil Bank - in the space of four days.

Jackson said: "Saturday against Dagenham is a massive game for us. In the context of things it couldn't be bigger really.

"It's a classic 'six-pointer' and we need the players and the fans to respond.

"Next up is Mansfield and that's another hugely significant fixture for us. These two games could determine which way we're going to go this season."

Lincoln are level with third-bottom Dagenham & Redbridge on 22 points, with Mansfield three points and one place further behind.
