Mowbray: Posh must be respected

Thu 24 Jan, 12:45 PM

Tony Mowbray insists West Brom will respect one of the most potent strikeforces in the country when they face Peterborough in the FA Cup.Aaron McLean and Craig Mackail-Smith have scored 38 goals between them in all competitions this season.

After seeing his side concede five goals in their last two games, Mowbray has been working to improve Albion's defending this week in a bid to guard against the prolific duo.

"We know we must tighten things up defensively. They have some strikers who are creating a fair bit of interest within football," said the Baggies boss.

"A lot of people are looking at their strikers, although it doesn't look like they are a club that needs to sell."
