Late Double Saves Forest

Thu 24 Jan, 12:32 AM

Nottingham Forest duo Chris Cohen and Nathan Tyson stole a 2-2 draw for Colin Calderwood's men after netting twice in the dying minutes leave relegation-threatened Millwall stunned.

Lions striker Neil Harris got the home side off to the perfect start against his former club with a 27th-minute opener before Arsenal loanee Jay Simpson doubled the lead after the break.

However, Cohen sparked a late Forest fightback five minutes from time before Tyson pounced on sloppy Millwall defending two minutes later to take his side into the automatic promotion places.

Millwall weathered an early Forest storm and drew first blood when Harris fired a free-kick past former Southampton keeper Paul Smith after James Perch hauled down Simpson.

Millwall netted their second five minutes after the restart when Simpson fired home from Dave Brammer's corner as the Lions shut up shop for the win.

But it wasn't to be with Cohen tucking neatly past Evans before Millwall repeated their weekend antics against Tranmere allowing Tyson to slot home from close range and take his side into second place in League One.
