Ligue 1 rivals fire Sunday blanks

Sun 24 Feb, 10:45 PM

Both games in France's Ligue 1 ended goalless on Sunday as Bordeaux move to within three points of league leaders Lyon.Bordeaux, who sit second, could have moved even closer to Lyon but they could not find a way past Lille at the Chaban-Delmas stadium.

The point for Bordeaux ensures Lyon still enjoy a three-point margin at the top of the table.

Elsewhere, Marseille could not find a way past Toulouse as they were forced to settle for a point at the Municipal Stadium.

Marseille introduced Djibril Cisse at half-time as they sought a breakthrough, but neither side did enough to win the game and honours were left even to leave Toulouse in the bottom three.
