Millwall have signed striker Bas Savage until the end of the season on a free transfer after he left Brighton at the end of December.Savage - famed for his moonwalk goal celebration - was a free agent after leaving the Seagulls and had been on trial at SPL side Kilmarnock.
Manager Kenny Jackett believes the 26-year-old, who has also played for Reading, Bristol City and Gillingham, will add some much-needed firepower to the relegation-threatened Lions.
He told the club's official website: "Bas will give us a more physical presence in both boxes, as well as taking some of the weight off Gary Alexander's shoulder.
"We've got some good players here but maybe we've lacked a bit of strength coming off the bench since Adebayo Akinfenwa left.
"Bas has come in on a short-term contract and will be working very hard to try and earn a longer deal."
