HAMBURG, Germany (AFP) - Giant teenage world champion judoka Teddy Riner was beaten by Japan's Yasuyuki Muneta in the over-100kgs category at the Super World Cup in Hamburg on Sunday.

The 18-year-old, who won gold in Rio de Janeiro's World Championships last year in the over 100kgs category, lost out to Muneta, a double world champion, in the Pool A final with a yuko.

Muneta will now face Russia's Maxim Bryanov in the semi-final while Riner has gone into the repechage.
