Mon 24 Mar, 07:30 PM

Darlington came from two goals down to score twice in the last six minutes and claim a 2-2 draw at home to Morecambe in a thriller on Monday. The Shrimps took the lead after 38 minutes when Wayne Curtis went down inside the penalty area after a challenge from Darlington captain Steve Foster and Garry Thompson converted the resulting spot-kick.

The home side went two behind for the second successive home game three minutes later when Thompson beat Ben Parker and his deep cross was headed home by Jon Newby from five yards.

Midfielder Jason Kennedy struck the crossbar after the restart before the late drama unfolded.

Kennedy collected a knockdown from Richie Foran after 84 minutes and side-footed the ball in from eight yards to give the home side some hope.

And in the last minute substitute Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu equalised with a brilliant solo effort, cutting inside from the left before firing a low drive into the bottom corner of the net from the edge of the area.
