Republic of Ireland Under-21 striker Andy Keogh will trade Croke Park for the more humble surroundings of Terryland Park, Galway on Tuesday.Having scored three goals for club side Wolves over the last week, Don Givens is sure to start the 21-year-old against Montenegro as he tries to guide his team to only their second win in six UEFA U21 Championship qualifying games.
Keogh will be seeking to improve on his impressive scoring rate of a goal every two games at under-age level, as he tries to force his way back into the reckoning with the senior set-up - which is under new management.
"I'm not disappointed at all to be back with the under-21s," said the Dubliner.
"It's a bonus that I can still play under-21s and I'm still only young. The group has been doing well, but Don has decided to bring the likes of myself back into it and I'm happy with that.
"Any time I play for my country is a bonus. I know what is required to play at senior level and the difference there is between that and under-21, so I know how to focus my mind for this game."
Liam Brady will represent the new Republic manager Giovanni Trapattoni at the game and he will be hoping for some good news regarding the future when he reports back to the Italian.
After a disappointing campaign, the Irish hope to win their last game at home in the group and set themselves up for the final two games - away to Portugal and Bulgaria - in September.
"The higher we can finish will help us on the next qualifying campaign, but purely from a personal and professional pride point of view I want the team to pick up as many points as we can over the next games," said coach Givens.
"We only have three left and we want to start that run with a win on Tuesday. That will help us ahead of the double-header in Portugal and Bulgaria next September. For our professional pride we want to be looking at the table by the end of that and see us further up it."
Darron Gibson is the only injury worry for the Irish after he twisted an ankle in training on Sunday afternoon.
Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
