Sturrock happy to help Easter

Jermaine Easter has revealed Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock's advice about shooting helped him find the net in the 1-1 draw with Watford. The 26-year-old opened the scoring against the Hornets in Saturday's Championship clash at Home Park and ended a frustrating few weeks in front of goal after missing several chances.

Easter told the club's official website: "I decided to go with placement instead of power. I've spoken to the gaffer and he told me what he thinks I need to do to improve. I took his advice and the ball went in."

Sturrock added: "I had a word with him about the height and angle he was trying to shoot at.

"I felt he was trying to score at the near post. He played it across goalie and hit it a bit lower, so, maybe that is one up for the strikers."
