Jason Scotland's second-half brace salvaged a valuable 2-2 draw for League One leaders Swansea at home to a battling Bristol Rovers side.Scotland capped a fine comeback from the Swans when he curled home an 84th-minute stunner to cancel out goals from Rickie Lambert and Craig Disley that had presented Rovers with a shock half-time lead.

The two rivals clashed just six days after the controversy which saw Swans assistant Graeme Jones arrested following a post-match incident with Pirates defender Danny Coles.

But it was the visitors who came flying out of the blocks as Lambert wriggled free to fire home the opener in the 14th minute, before Disley made no mistake as he evaded the offside trap to slot home and give the away side a surprise 2-0 lead at the interval.

Swansea looked to make amends for their sluggish first-half display and Scotland's close range effort gave the hosts a 50th-minute lifeline after Steve Phillips had beaten out Leon Britton's shot.

The strike galvanised Roberto Martinez's outfit into life and Andy Robinson and Tom Butler saw efforts fly narrowly wide before Scotland grabbed a stunning late leveller.
