Cinderella once again appeared at the NCAA Tournament on Sunday as 10th-ranked Davidson knocked off second-ranked Georgetown 74-70.
Stephen Curry was Davidson's hero of the hour, scoring 30 points as his team came back from 17 points down to score a dramatic win.
Elsewhere, second-ranked Tennessee stuttered against Butler but eventually overcame their seventh-ranked opponents 76-71, thanks to four straight free throws at the end of JaJuan Smith, while fellow second seed Texas struggled mightily in their 75-72 victory over Miami, thanks to two AJ Abrams free throws with under 10 seconds on the clock remaining.
Twelfth-ranked West Kentucky made sure that their fairytale tournament didn't end early with a 72-63 win over spirited San Diego, while fellow 12th seeds Villanova scorched Siena 84-72.
Top seeds Memphis survived a late flurry of Mississippi State points to come through 77-74, while tournament favourites North Carolina had no problem disposing of Arkansas, crushing the Razorbacks 108-77.
In the day's other game, third-ranked Louisville were defensively brilliant as they ousted Oklahoma 78-48.
