Internazionale striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been ruled out of Sweden's friendly with Brazil in London because of a knee problem.

"We spoke this morning and we agreed it is best for him to take the chance for some rehab and rest his knee," coach Lars Lagerback said.

"He's played on painkillers for a couple of matches now."

Sunderland striker Rade Prica will replace Ibrahimovic in the squad while Mikael Dorsin has been called up to replace Wigan's Erik Edman, who injured his knee ligaments in the 3-1 loss at Blackburn on Saturday.

Ibrahimovic joins a increasingly lengthy list of star players, which already includes Ronaldinho and Kaka, who will not feature at the Emirates Stadium.
