Goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson will line-up against Brazil at Wembley on Wednesday, desperate to convince Sven-Goran Eriksson he has a future at Manchester City.

The Swedish international has made just five appearances for Eriksson's team this season, and is growing increasingly frustrated at his lack of playing time ahead of this summer's Euro 2008 tournament in Switzerland.

"All matches before the Euro 2008 are very important to me," he said.

"I am looking for a new club and I will try to move this summer. I want to play again, that's what I enjoy doing. But for now nobody has contacted me so I am laying low.

"I feel great but I have only played three matches this past month or so which is not a lot."

City beat off stiff competition to sign Isaaksson from Rennes in August 2006, and he was immediately touted as the long-term replacement for David James.

The emergence of England Under-21 international Joe Hart, however, has left the Swede languishing in the reserves.

The 26-year-old, who has accrued 52 caps for Sweden and remains their first-choice goalkeeper, has not ruled out the possibility of winning back his place in Eriksson's side.

"I haven't talked to Svennis about the situation in a long time but I haven't given up my hope of becoming first goalkeeper again, but I have to respect his decision.

"It was hard in the beginning but I had to keep going. I have been in a good mood and I still enjoy playing at all levels. Considering the circumstances I am feeling okay."
