The agent of CSKA Moscow striker Jo believes "something will happen" in the near future to allow the Brazilian to move to Manchester City.It was claimed in a report earlier this week that the 21-year-old - whose full name is Joao Alves de Assis Silva - was set to sign for the Premier League club in a 20 million euros deal despite recently extending his contract with the Russians to 2011.

His agent Marcelo Djian has now expressed confidence that a move can be agreed, despite apparent differences in the valuation of the player.

"I've made some calls to Russia and they told me there was no formal offer, but I think something will happen," Djian told Globoesporte.

"I know CSKA president (Evgeny Giner) wants 25 million euros, the release clause to sell Jo."
